Hello – I’m Robyn.

Welcome to BurntClay – a place where I share my life as a work in progress, masterfully woven by the Creator in the midst of a fallen world. It’s a place where I play at trying to put into words the work the Father is doing as He step by step takes me on this crazy journey of life.

It’s real, it’s gritty, it’s a beautiful mess.

It’s the little things, like Grandma’s old fudge recipe, and the bigger ones like navigating a house of boys. It’s living my life as a modest piece of clay that’s been in the kiln a few times (and I’m sure there are a few more rounds to come!), sharing with you some steps along the way.

I am the blessed wife of a wise, big-hearted man, and mama to 4 full-on boys. Jesus captured my heart at age 11, and I’ve never looked back.

I love warm sunshine, discovering natural living and honest conversation. Organic coffee and dark chocolate also score pretty high on my list. ;o)

Life is full of twists and turns, and in the end rarely looks like we envisioned it to. Which might not be a bad thing. Surprises keep it interesting, but they can also make it challenging. So enjoy a quick peek, or settle in for a while – taking comfort in the fact you are not alone in this crazy life.

And, yes, the fire does make us stronger – and more beautiful.
